PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Mrs. Mack started her dance training at the age of fourteen in Joliet, Illinois. She continued her training throughout High School and earned a four year long talented student scholarship to Northern Illinois University. While at NIU, Mrs. Mack performed Peasant Pas de Deux in Giselle, Silver Fairy and Hand Maiden in Sleeping Beauty, Arabian Lead and Snow in the Nutcracker, Peasant in Carmina Burana, Mazurka Soloist in Coppelia, & Corps de Ballet in Paquita and Les Slyphides. Amber has also appeared in several original modern works and has had several solos choreographed for her. While at Indiana Ballet Theatre, Mrs. Mack has appeared as the Rat King, Snowflake, Yellow Rose, Dew Drop, Spanish, Russian, and Lead Arabian in the Nutcracker, White Swan and Sister in Swan Lake, Fairy of the Woods in Thumbelina, Eastern Vendor in Cinderella, and Silver Fairy in Sleeping Beauty.

In addition to her training at NIU, Mrs. Mack has attended several summer intensives. She studied at Joffery Ballet in NYC, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in NYC, and she was a scholarship student and dorm manager at Milwaukee Ballet in Milwaukee, WI. Mrs. Mack graduated from NIU summa cum laude, in December 2004 with her Bachelor of Fine Arts emphasis in Dance Performance and a minor in Theatre. Mrs. Mack also graduated from Ivy Tech Community College, cum laude, in December 2009 with her Associate of Science in Nursing. Mrs. Mack is currently employed as a Pediatric Registered Nurse at St. Anthony Medical Center in Crown Point. Mrs. Mack is also fifth year resident company member of Indiana Ballet Theatre

Mrs. Mack learned to create headpieces and accessories from ballet master and choreographer Mr. Randall Newsom, of Northern Illinois University. She has numerous original headpiece designs that can be seen on stage all around the Chicago land area. As a professional dancer, she understands what it takes to make beautiful, functional, one of a kind accessories.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Mrs. Mack currently resides in Wanatah with her husband Codey and newborn son Jackson.
